Narriforge’s history started from the backdrop of the 2020 lockdown, researching the changing landscape of media to find a unique way of helping tell today’s most motivating stories. Founder David Liu started learning various topics within film industry on the weekends to balance his corporate day job in software.
In 2022, Narriforge was established, expanding from scoring and film composing to video production and post-production services.
In 2025, David Liu left the software industry after 20 years to pursue filmmaking and immersive media full time and finish his debut film project.
In 2026, Narriforge announced the release of their first in-house feature documentary, TO BE SEEN.
Today, Narriforge accommodates the needs of its varied customers to deliver the production needs of this unique media era.

Tom Hammond
SOUND EDITOR, SOUND DESIGNER, RE-RECORDING MIXER
Tom is the founder of Soundcrafter. He has been the supervising sound editor and/or re-recording mixer on many of Richard Linklater’s films and at least 100 other narrative and documentary films. He intermittently teaches and quest lectures in the Radio-Television-Film Department at the University of Texas at Austin. He received a BFA and MFA in film/video production from the California Institute of the Arts. Earlier he studied physics and music composition at Whitman College.

Chris Todd
DP, CO-PRODUCER
For over the past decade, Chris has been working with and leading teams of creatives on film sets, working with notable names including Terrence Malick, Emmanuel Lubezki, and Douglas Trumbull. In his most recent years in the film industry, several of his films have been featured in numerous festivals including Fantastic Fest, Fantasia, Leeds International, and the Chattanooga Film Festival where "The End of Decay" received the "The Dangerous Vision Award".
